Robert Teague Businessman, CEO, executive coach.

If you met him on the street, he would answer to “Bob”. That’s just the kind of guy he is. Straightforward. Simple. Focused. It’s surprising considering his list of accomplishments.

A board certified pulmonologist with more than 25 years in practice, Bob Teague is currently the CEO of PracticeIT, an electronic medical technology company based in Austin, Texas. He has over 20 years of experience in the health business sector and was medical director for Hewlett-Packard/Compaq and consultant for both EDS and Kindred Healthcare.

His journey has led him through experiences as a dishwasher, chemical plant operator, obstetrical assistant, physician, businessman, consultant and writer, and to some of the most unlikely encounters with people along the way. If you ever had the chance to sit and chat with him, you would most likely hear some of the stories. His ability to glean lessons from life’s journey is evident in the prose of Spring Snow, a thoughtful collection that tells a story of renewal.

Bob’s philosophy is simple: “Our greatest strength is the ability to ask ‘why’. Our greatest weakness...is our need to,” he says. Life is like a river. Jump in and go with the flow. You just never know where it will take you.

He is the father of three and grandfather of one.

Spring Snow is his first work of this type.

When you run into a person who has the courage to be transparent and honest, it compels you to be the same. It allows you to love and be loved for who you are...now. It is the thing that helps you grow. The stuff of life.
