Author Profiles
Sherry McLaughlin
Teacher, innovator and journeyor.
Sherry launched her career as an author of inspirational books in 2005
with Lessons from the Couch, a powerful book describing her transformational
experience with a Christian life coach. A wife, business owner and mother of an
autistic child, Sherry was often viewed as the kind of person who had everything
under control. Little did she know that her accidental trip to the couch would
lead to the writing of a book that has been sold nationwide and changed the
lives and walks of people of all ages.
Bentleys, barcodes & blueberry muffins, the subtitle of this inaugural book,
embodies the journeying spirit of this thoughtful, 20-something. James asks the
hard questions about life and its idiosyncrasies in this self-proclaimed, anti self-help
book that cries out for people to learn from taking a hard look at their existence in
lieu of following status quo or attempting to live life by a manufactured checklist.
It is real. It is raw. It is pure James.
If you met him on the street, he would answer to “Bob”. That’s just the kind of
guy he is. Straightforward. Simple. Focused. It’s surprising considering his list of
accomplishments.
